A Little Stone Cottage in Wales
Deb and Ian have just brought a smallholding of 1.5 acres in mid Wales. It needs a lot of work and won't be liveable for a while. They are currently still living in the Black Country where their chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, vegetables and son live, as they have to work, and go to the smallholding at the weekends to renovate the cottage and sort out the land. Eventually they hope to move jobs and live full time in Wales. Deb and Ian never thought they would be able to afford a smallholding and have been searching for several years. Now they have different dilemmas - where to keep the livestock - Midlands or Wales?, should they move the vegetables over? Will their son come with them? Where will they get the money to renovate from?
