I have purchased a new compact tractor from Compact Tractors & Machinery Ltd., in Somerset, its not a toy its extremely well built and is about the size of the old Grey Fergie, but this is bang up to date.    Its 25hp, 8 forward 8 reverse with shuttle gearbox, 2 / 4 WD, and very easy to drive, 2 years full cover warranty  - no quibbles  -  and they put that in writing!.    I had hunted around for a year and initially decided clear of Chinese stuff based on what I had seen, but this one seemed better than what I had seen before  -  and so it proved to be.    If anybody is considering a good compact tractor which is a real workhorse, I think you would be hard pressed to beat this, its a Mahindra 254, look at their website and compare.    Report
