13/07/2010, 11:22 PM MIKE Joined on 13/07/2010 Posts 1 SICK GOOSE I have a sick goose.  She is very depressed and spends time on her own, often on the pond.  She does not graze much and stands around listlessly.  The base of her neck/ chest area seems swollen and her wings are drooping.  She seems unable to flap her wings.  She has lost weight and seems weak. She will eat bread and lettice and some layers mash but not enough.  She is five years old and was laying earlier . We lost her sister a few months ago in very similar circumstances. We have taken her to the vet and given her a course of anti biotics to no avail, we have also wormed her. She has been ill for over a month. Any suggestions would be appreciated.    Report
